Find something that is not above something that you can do more easily at first. Such as taking a daily walk. I prefer outdoor walking as opposed to walking on a treadmill. As I enjoy the fresh air and taking in the scenery, etc. Most often I take my little dog with me. I put her in a stroller for longer walks. I have been a daily outdoor walker all my life. Living in sunny San Diego helps. LOL But I suggest to those that are not used to doing a mile or more on one walk, is to begin slowly and instead of one long walk all at one time. Break it up into several smaller walks. Boredom is what usually causes people to quit. If helps, walk with a friend, a dog, etc. Go to different routes, etc. I often drive to the ocean nearby or a whole different neighborhood. It does not have to be a total body workout to help greatly in weight loss. As most weight is lost by reducing calories and not by exercising. Check out how much one has to exercise just to burn 500 calories. So best thing is don't eat so much in the first place. People get overwhelmed by thinking such a need for gym type exercises, then back out. Walking is for most, is the easiest, cheapest and best type of exercise for not only weight loss, but a mood enhancer, relaxing and definitely great for the heart and all over health.

I try not to set any large goals. Tell myself I’ll walk on the treadmill just 10 minutes. Usually once I’m there I’m able to go bunch longer. Even if very low impact

I walk around my place indoors because my balance is severe and I can't walk without a walker and I do household chores it counts as exercise
I'm hoping one day I can walk without assistance I can't even use a cane because my balance is not good for that either
