What Is Wrong With Me?

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Spooner, WI

I eat at most twice a day. But usually once. I don’t ray out very much. Maybe once a month. I quit snacks and sodas. The drs said my weight gain is due to the medication I take. Which is a lot. I guess I’m asking why I one month I’m 280. And then down to 269. How am I loading it when I’m not eating different or exercise.

Hi , there are multiple reasons.
If you don't take in enough calories the body thinks that you are in danger and refuses to let go of fat.
It's best to eat 3 meals per day or eat at least that amount of your 2 meals spread out over 6x a day. Depending on age can be a factor for wt loss.
Most importantly love the body that you have.
I see all types of body situations wearing clothes that you you love and fixing your hair and a little lip stick does wonders.
Enjoy yourself you are your best friend.

do not cut the meds completely or change the dosage, without talking to your doctor before, cos that can be worst thing for your health.

Your metabolism is being effected by the medicine as well as a lack of movement/ exercise on top of lack of food from what it sounds like

I am awful. I’m on a med that increases appetite. I’ve gained 40lbs in 4 months. I eat like a savage. An alcoholic doesn’t want a drink worse than I want something to eat. Help!
