I have heard of that. Getting inflammatory foods out of your diet until you heal should stop it! And of course things like soda and pork. Gut Balance Revolution has some information on that even though it is in the context of healing intestinal dysbiosis.

Have you ask ed about cortisone shots? I take th em for my knee arthritis and my Dad got them for gout in his ankle. Just a thought. I am pain free for two monthgs after a shot but not always a good option because it elevates your sugar

Karen, cortisone is a steroid, I wasn't sure who you were asking your question to!

The shot isnt bad, they spray a topical pain med on the knee before the shot, honestly its like a pinch. The needle is larger than a regular one but I would not advise the shots if they were not worth it. You feel 100% better after it!
