Does Anyone Get Angry Over Weight?

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Preston, ID

I have more desire to lose weight than I can express. Yet, some of my disability keeps me from doing things that can help me shed that weight. I want to go on a supplement, but all of them require exercise.. I can't exercise because of my Dystonia. I get so angry because I KNOW all the right things to do, but I can't do them! How do you deal with the war going on in your head over weight issues?

A MyObesityTeam Member

From everything I have read, most studies haven't really went into other conditions. They tend to stick with Dystonia as the primary issue or a secondary issue caused by Parkinson's, MS, etc.

How To Effectively Lose Weight For Weight Loss Surgery?

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lewiston, ID

I'm not even sure if weight loss surgery is the best way to deal with my weight problems. I just keep gaining weight no matter what i'm doing. I am on c-pap machine to help me breath and any excursion and i'm unable to breath. All i can do to be comfortable is to lay still. I feel hopeless.

Hyperthyroidism And Obesity

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Canada, CO

Hello,

I suffer from Hyperthyroidism (Graves Disease) and Anemia. I've also been diagnosed with a few mental illnesses about a year and a half ago and have been taking Citalopram and Lamotrigine for those issues. I've noticed a significant amount of weight gain during the first six months of taking these medications. I had thought it was because of the medications that I was gaining but decided to do a little test and got off of them. I had gone to the gym, ate a plant-based diet and nothing… read more

I Have A Lump Of Fat Under My Right Breast That Has Been There For A Long Time. 15 Yrs At Least. And Im Wondering If Anyone Else Has This.

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Altona, MB

My husband says I had it even when we were dating 11 yrs ago. But i didn't notice until I gained 100+ lbs. Now I have lost 36lbs and it seems like its even bigger. It doesnt hurt when squish or press on it. But it makes wearing a bra a pain in the ***. Should I be concerned? Or is it just extra tissue??

Always have something like that checked.

Multiple Medical N Weight Loss (outside The Us)

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭
Toronto, ON

Well been here for a while reading and posting on occasion. But never really read anyone who is similar to our living issues.

We are on disability which as many know means u live (survive) under the poverty line (under since u dont even make the base poverty line income). We live in a monthly basis of being food deprived so eating one meal a day is very much the norm. It isnt health but it becomes the only option. We depend on local food pantries for supply of fresh veg once a month and… read more

Artificial sweeteners are not good for you. Even if you drink diet soda still has a lot of bad stuff. Is your bread wheat or multigrain. Try Arnold's multigrain.
