I'm currently on levothyroxine for my Thyroid, My energy sucks, I get like, 1 week a month where I can be booming around doing stuff, getting stuff done and those other 3 weeks of the month I'm downright land down. I can't do anything. I'm stuck on social media or Netflix and my body doesn't function. It doesn't move. It's in pain. I've got to see my rheumatologist tomorrow and see if she can put me back on A. I have been on levothyroxine for hypothyroidism now for about 10yrs. I feel fine. All my TSH tests comes out normal, so this is under control. A rheumatologist also around 2016 diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in my lower back and right knee. Many people get upset when a doctor suggests that many of their ailments can greatly be reduced or even eliminated if they lose weight. We all need to understand that obesity is a health issue that creates more, and a good doctor will address this. Due to my older age and family history of coronary disease, I was also referred to a cardiologist. All good there, but same thing told me by other two doctors. Lose weight and keep up my daily routine of walking. Change my bad eating habits and eat healthy food. Mainly cut the sugar and high carbs. And eliminate many of the night shade foods, suggested for pain relief and inflammation. What we eat sure makes a difference on our energy, inflammation, water retention, etc. For me sitting too long makes me hurt so I take a couple of walks every day. People think they are too tired to exercise. Regular exercise is what keeps one from getting so tired. Meaning not over doing the exercise, but just not laying or sitting around all day. Sugar is terrible also for those energy slumps. Eat plenty of protein at mealtimes.
I am on levothyroxine too because I had cancer and they cut out my thyroid. I also have fibromyalgia, so moving around is difficult for me. So I bought a life pro on Amazon. I can sit and it giggles my legs and stomach while burning calories and easing my edema on my legs. It's a little spendy, but it's worth it in the long run. The average obese person can lose up to 20lbs in a month using this machine just sitting. More if you can stand!
I hope this gives you ideas. Have fun losing weight ❤️
