well, I been there myself, losing my parents 30 years apart. I am still at lost but there are some things I do so I won't be overeating. One thing for is working out 10 to 15 minutes after one of your meals. Nothing strenuous that will cause me to be completely out of breath but something low impact. 2ndly is drinking water that is 16 oz 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch and dinner add some fiber to the water before each meal. then wait an hour after eating and drink another 16 oz after each meal. This will help keep those cravings down. See anytime you do portion control; your body will react because its use to getting more food. I used to weigh 235lbs, with these tricks I am down now to 198.I did a change for life story on you tube call Sally DZIADULEWICZ LOSES 45 LBS. check it out. Then involve yourself around positive people, outings that you enjoy. Try it and let me what you think.

I journal... I write down my feelings or how I am feeling at the time I want to grab for food ... Makes me stop and think why am I upset ... Keep a pad of paper close by you ... Or in the kitchen ... When the feeling hits you to grab for food ... Stop write down what you are thinking and feeling ... Soon you will see a pattern and you can work on your thoughts ... Your brain is your worst enemy ...

I'm working on portion control again. I've been overeating like crazy since losing both parents within 2 months (mom died May 1 and Dad was July 2).
