Anyone have a hard time losing weight with Thyroid problems?

I had my thyroid ablation last year, but removing my gland didn't help with my weight. I still struggle with it. I'll lose 50lbs and gain 25 back every few months. It has made it a little easier to keep weight off longer. I used to lose 20 and gain 20 right back on a month to month basis. I'm working on getting my eating habits under control now. When my thyroid problems were at their worst, I started having problems eating without getting sick. I used to go without eating quite often and then binge eat once a month. It's all a process. You just have to pay attention to your body. You'll find the niche to your weight loss. I wish you the best. 😀

I have hypothyroidism and I have lost 71 lbs. since last November...I take my levothyroxine, I'm trying to eat better and I exercise. I also take two tablespoons of Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, mixed in 8 oz of warm water in the morning before I eat anything and the same thing again just before I go to bed...I feel a little boost of energy as well. Maybe that will help get you started...:D good luck

I have hypothyroidism too. Everyone told me when I first got diagnosed that I would lose weight. Haa! Nada! Zip zilch, zero!
