Like Karen, I too am wondering what you mean by CME ? Do you mean continuing medical education hours ? Such as for people in the medical field. Such as doctors, general practitioners etc. I worked 25yrs in a California hospital as a Central Services Manager. I was a Certified Registered Central Service Technician/Mgr. Here we call it for nurses, technicians, etc. CEU's . Continuing education units. So many hours are required to attend classes/ seminars, etc. in our related fields to get enough required hours CE units, for each year to maintain our license or accreditation status. Co-workers, etc. that I personally knew had to pay for this out of our own pockets, Once in a while as a manager I got lucky, and the hospital would pay. But I am now 79 yrs old and been retired from that job now for many years. Fortunately now with all the newer technology, many classes, etc. can now be done online.
